Stella Maris is a bright, airy, and comfortable penthouse apartment, nestling in the heart of Carvoeiro. This well-appointed apartment is only 100 metres level walk from the beach and central square of Carvoeiro and is close to all amenities including a wide selection of restaurants. Although so centrally situated, this hidden gem offers a surprisingly quiet oasis of tranquility.
This charming and spacious 2 bedroom apartment has been recently renovated and is suitable for a pleasant stay of 4 persons. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a new fully equipped open kitchen, a nice dining and living area with air conditioning, and a large secluded sun terrace. All patio doors and windows are fitted with mosquito screens.
The apartment is accessed through a key-entry door at street level then via elevator or, for the more energetic, by stairs. As you enter the apartment you will find a large bedroom with twin beds and adjacent a bathroom with spacious shower. A marble staircase takes you up to the next level where the second bedroom with king-size bed, and adjacent bathroom with large shower are to be found. Each bedroom has patio doors leading to its own small balcony, and each has a built-in wardrobe with plenty of space for holiday clothes.
On this floor is also situated the kitchen and living area. The well designed modern kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob & electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. A door in the kitchen opens onto the patio where the washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in a separate small laundry room.
With air conditioning to cool you during long hot summer days or to keep you nice and cosy during the cooler season, the bright and airy living & dining area is furnished with dining table & chairs and very comfortable lounge seating, perfect for relaxing into after a long day exploring the beauties of the Algarve. The living area is equipped with CD player, DVD player and a TV with lots of channels in many languages including Dutch, English, French & German. Fibre Wi-Fi is also provided.
From the living area, patio doors lead you to the large sunny terrace which offers fantastic views to the lush green hills opposite and from where you can see the sea. With quality sun loungers, for which beach towels are provided, and stylish dining table & chairs, the sun terrace is the ideal place for sunbathing in privacy or sharing a romantic dinner al fresco. Carvoeiro is renowned for its stunning sunsets, so after a hard day's sunbathing crack open a bottle of local wine, kick back and enjoy a sundowner. It also gives an ideal spot to watch the stars at night - and you can even spot the ISS whenever it passes overhead!
All our prices include the above-mentioned services and are based on max. 4 persons. For longer winter lets from November until end March the costs of electricity are to be paid separately.
